Hyderabad: Specta Quartz Surfaces, India’s leading luxury quartz brand by ARL Group, has expanded its presence in North East India through its participation in CONWOO Siliguri 2026. The exhibition is East India’s largest international event focused on construction, building materials, architecture, and wood innovations. The move signals Specta’s intent to enter a region that is slowly adopting premium construction materials and modern design choices.
The company highlighted Siliguri as a strategic gateway to the North Eastern region. Traditionally, the North East remained an underpenetrated market for engineered quartz surfaces. However, rising exposure to global design trends and steady urbanisation are changing buyer preferences. Meanwhile, demand for luxury housing and hospitality projects has also increased. Therefore, Specta expects the eastern region to contribute close to 5 percent of its overall sales in the initial phase as awareness grows.
At CONWOO Siliguri, Specta Quartz Surfaces showcased its newly launched X-Ellence Series. The series includes ten colours drawn from Specta’s four popular collections, Maven, Allura, Pastel Poise, and Aura. The company stated that the X-Ellence Series balances durability with refined aesthetics. It also offers versatility for residential, commercial, and hospitality applications. As a result, the collection aims to match evolving design needs across different project types.
Siliguri’s importance in this expansion links closely to infrastructure growth. Investments in road connectivity, air links, and urban planning have improved access to the city. Consequently, Siliguri is emerging as a critical entry point to the North East. At the same time, private hospitality players, luxury real estate developers, and government backed infrastructure projects are reshaping the city into a major growth centre in eastern India.
