Srinivas Goud Start Bike Rally On Occasion Of World Tourism Day

Hyderabad, Sept.27 (Maxim News): On the occasion of World Tourism Day, Confederation of Indian Industry in association with Government of Telangana organized a “TRAVEL AGAIN : Bike Ride to Ananthagiri Hills” with the theme ‘Encouraging Weekend Tourism hangouts for Rural Development’ on Sunday from Taramati Baradari to Anantagiri Hills. The objective of this ride was to encourage Weekend Tourism hangouts so that people RESTART living these trends.

While participating in the Bike ride, Chief Guest V Srinivas Goud, Minister Youth Services, Tourism & Culture and Archaeology, Government of Telangana appreciated the efforts of CII for promoting tourism in the state, He also said that under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister and KT Rama Rao, Hon’ble Minister for Industries several measures were taken to strengthen tourism eco-system in the state. He also that Durgam Cheruvu is being developed with world class infrastructure.

Telangana government has taken initiative for tourism development and to attract tourists from other states and countries he maintained. Earlier tourists used to places like Singapore, Dubai and others. Now with corona pandemic there is no such situation, he said.

The minister said that a plan of action is being g implemented to ensure tourism development. Telangana capital Hyderabad is favourite tourism destination and several other places are to be developed as tourist spots. Budhavanam in Nagarjuna Sagar area Phanigiri, Kotii Lingala will attract more tourists.

He said that several water projects are being developed as the tourism spits like — Kaleshwaram, Mid Maner, Laknavaram, Annaram, Medigadda, Karivena, Udhandapur, Koilsagar, and others. We have asked the officials to coordinate to attract tourists, he added. (Maxim News)
