Hyderabad, Jan. 20 (Maxim News): State Election Commissioner Rani Kumudini has stepped up preparations for the upcoming municipal elections across Telangana. She has begun a series of video conferences with district collectors to review election readiness.
Rani Kumudini held a video conference with collectors of the undivided Adilabad and Karimnagar districts. During the meeting, she reviewed arrangements in municipalities and corporations, including voter lists and polling station preparedness. The Election Commissioner will hold another video conference with collectors from the undivided Nizamabad, Khammam, and Warangal districts.
Rani Kumudini is expected to issue clear directions on precautions required for smooth conduct of municipal elections. Meetings are scheduled with collectors of the undivided Nalgonda and Mahabubnagar districts. Key issues such as enforcement of the election code, staff deployment, and maintenance of law and order will be discussed.
