Stay On Notices To BL Santhosh Extended for 6 Weeks

Hyderabad, Jan 23 (Maxim News):  SIT Notices to BL Santhosh, The High Court of Telangana has extended the stay for another six weeks on the CrPC 41 A notices issued to BL Santosh and Tushar in the farmhouse case (MLAs purchase case).

As the stay period has expired today, Santosh’s lawyer has filed a petition to extend it. The Trial Judge initially agreed to give two weeks.  However, the public prosecutor told the court that the MLA’s purchase cases are pending the appeal petition of the government. The bench pointed out that it would take more time to complete the investigation.  As a result, the High Court issued an order extending the stay for six weeks.  The case was adjourned for a further hearing for six weeks. (Maxim News)
