Student Set Himself On Fire For Not Getting Rank In EAMCET

Hyderabad, May 26 (Maxim News): A student has committed suicide by setting himself on fire because he did not get a rank in EAMCET – 2023.

Srikrishna Chaitanya (18) from new Nalla Kunta has completed Inter (MPC) from Sri Chaitanya Junior College, DD Colony. He wrote the recently held EAMCET exam.

On Thursday morning, when the EAMCET results came out, Srikrishna Chaitanya did not qualify. He was deeply offended by that and went from home to a deserted area of Osmania University on a bicycle. He poured the petrol he had brought with him there and set it on fire.

Srikrishna chaitanya screamed in pain as his whole body caught fire. The University pump driver noticed it and immediately informed the police. The Police reached the spot and put out the fire that caught the student. He was taken to Gandhi Hospital, but he had already suffered 60 per cent burns on his body and he died.
