Hundreds of students irrespective of representing student bodies and organisations today protested against disrespect to National Anthem by a group of students at University of Jammu here.
Protesting students alleged that on March 5 at an inaugural function of Inter-Universities Sports Meet at University of Jammu, when National Anthem was played, some of the students disrespected it.
Demanding action and probe into the matter, the students had given 48-hours ultimatum to the University Administration but as no action was taken, students this morning took out a rally amid slogans and disrupted the class work.
