Hyderabad, Aug.17 (Maxim News): Chief Secretary SK Joshi today directed officials of all departments to submit proposals of budget at the earliest.
The Chief Secretary held a high-level review meeting at Secretariat with them and discussed on the budget proposals for 2019-20. Since the Chief Minister will hold a similar meeting, all the departments should get ready with budgetary proposals based on needs, he said. The Chief Secretary said Assembly Budget session is likely to be held in September and the departments should prepare required budgetary proposals. Based on priorities, all departments should prepare budget proposals as per their requirements. “Make sure that the Central schemes, allocations and expenditure have to be kept in view for preparing the budgetary proposals”, he added.
The Chief Secretary also asked them to hold review meetings with ministers concerned before finalizing the budgetary proposals. Keeping in view the budget session in September and the last year budget and proposals, he said the officials must make fresh budget proposals as per requirements. Revenue and other wings should speed up the process related to budget proposals and submit the same at the earliest. (Maxim News)
