Success School Homework Row Sparks Outrage In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, July 16: Tension prevailed at Success School in Saidabad’s Old City after allegations surfaced that a teacher assigned a second grade Hindu student homework to recite the Kalma and Surah Fatiha in Urdu. The issue has triggered protests by Hindu groups and prompted political reactions.
The controversy began after the student’s parents found the assignment written in the child’s school diary. They later visited the school and questioned the teacher over the homework.

Following the incident, several Hindu organisations demanded action against the school management, alleging that the assignment was inappropriate.

Union Minister Bandi Sanjay also reacted to the controversy. He criticised the school management and alleged that Hindu culture was being targeted. He called for action against those responsible.
