Nanded/Hyderabad, Aug 13 (Maxim News) : Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) chief and former Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal was attacked in Nanded, Maharashtra. The incident took place on the outskirts of the city while he was returning from a visit to a gurdwara. Following the attack, Badal was rushed to a private hospital in Nanded.
Sukhbir Singh Badal, along with his wife, Akali Dal MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal, and family members, visited the famous ‘Takht Shri Hazur Sahib’ gurudwara in Nanded. The attack took place while they were returning after offering darshan. Badal and one of the security personnel were injured in the incident. The police are conducting a preliminary investigation into the reasons behind the attack and the identity of the attackers.(Maxim News)
