Supreme Court Moves Against 10 MLAs Who Switched From BRS To Congress
Delhi/Hyderabad, Jan 16 (Maxim News): The BRS has approached the Supreme Court seeking disqualification of the MLAs who joined the Congress party after winning over the car symbol.

The petition states that the Speaker has not taken a decision even after 9 months of filing a complaint against ten MLAs.
It has filed an SLP against Kadiyam Srihari, Tellam Venkat Rao, and Danam Nagender. It has filed a writ petition against the remaining seven MLAs.

The court noted that even after six months of the High Court’s verdict, the Speaker has not taken any action or even given a notice. The bench sought implementation of the previous verdict in the Kesham Meghachandra case.
The bench referred to the verdict in the Kesham Meghachandra case that the Speaker should decide on the complaints of the parties within 3 months. It requested that the Speaker be directed to decide within four weeks. (Maxim News)
