Hyderabad, May 11 (Maxim News): A total of 14,292 out of 18,259 officers who opted to vote through postal ballot at the three Voter Facilitation Centers (VFCs) set up across the city have exercised their right to vote.

Hyderabad: With the conclusion of polling at 1,677 locations across Hyderabad district, EVMs used in the electoral process were deposited in the safekeeping of 14 Distribution and Reception Centres (DRCs).

District Election Officer Ronald Rose has directed the officials to prepare EVMs, Distribution, and Reception Centers (DRC) with all facilities without any hindrance.

New Delhi: Against the backdrop of some leaders questioning the reliability of EVMs, the Election Commission (EC) asserted on Tuesday that the machines are “absolutely robust and tamper-free”.
