Delhi/Hyderabad, Dec 2 (Maxim News): All India Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said that in the last 11 years, the BJP has continuously tried to weaken the constitution, constitutional institutions, and democracy. Addressing the grand public meeting of the Congress held, he said that all parties and organizations should fight unitedly to save the Constitution. He said with historical references that only rich landlords had the right to vote during the British period, but Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Dr. Ambedkar together laid the foundation of adult suffrage.

Mallikarjun Kharge sarcastically questioned whether Modi gave mature votes. He clarified that all these rights are owed to the Constitution, whose protection is our first responsibility. He said that a law was made in 1991 to preserve the pre-1947 religious places as they were. These people are not even accepting it. Mallikarjun Gharge said that the Taj Mahal was built by Muslims, go and demolish it too.
