Talasani Assures Support To Dairy Farmers

Hyderabad, Sept.18 (Maxim News): State Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Wednesday said that they were taking steps for solving problems being faced in the cooperative sector of the state.

He made this announcement while replying to a question in the State Assembly. He said that the state government would extend all kinds of support to help the dairy farmers. He also said that they were also taking steps for the expansion of state owned Vijaya Dairy. He said that they would set up more number of Vijaya dairy outlets across the state. He said that the state government was giving Rs.4 per litre of milk as incentive to Vijaya dairy while dispelling the fears of the farmers of the state.

He also said that they had set aside Rs.75 crore for giving the incentives to the dairy farmers of the state. Yadav said that some private dairies had also come forward to support the dairy farmers.(Maxim News)
