Talasani Inaugurates 120 Double Bedroom Houses in Muralidhar Bagh
Hyderabad, May 12 (Maxim News): State Minister for Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Cinematography and Dairy Talasani Srinivas Yadav has inaugurated 120 double bedroom houses in Muralidhar Bagh under Goshamahal Constituency, which cost Rs. 10 crores. State Home Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali, MLC MS Prabhakar, and Goshamahal MLA Rajasingh also participated in the program.
During the event, Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav announced that the Telangana government will provide one lakh double bedroom houses free of cost to the poor people of the state, so they can live with dignity. The newly constructed houses in Muralidhar Bagh consist of three blocks with infrastructure facilities such as internal roads, drainage, drinking water, lift, and ten Madiges for the local residents. The beneficiaries were selected through a lottery system, and each double bedroom house costs Rs. 8 lakhs.
Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav emphasized that these double bedroom houses have been constructed at a corporate level with all the necessary infrastructure facilities. He added that the beneficiaries who received these houses should not sell them, as they are worth crores of rupees, and action will be taken against the sellers and buyers.
Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali highlighted that the Telangana government has launched several welfare schemes for the poor, including uninterrupted power supply to industries, Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, Dalit Bandhu, Asara pensions, free drinking water, and Surplus power to farmers.
Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh suggested that the beneficiaries of Muralidhar Bagh double bedroom houses could run their businesses in Mojanjahi market, and the government could allocate shops to them to facilitate their business activities. He also requested the government to provide Rs. 3 lakhs as assistance to build a house for the poor people on their land next to Maralidhar.
MLC M.S. Prabhakar lauded the Telangana government’s efforts in providing double bedroom houses free of cost to the beneficiaries with a budget of Rs. 10 crores.
The program was attended by Gun Foundry Corporator Biswa Surekha, Jam Bagh Corporate Rakesh Jaiswal, Joint Collector Venkateshwar, Khairatabad Zonal Commissioner Ravikiran, SE Suresh, Vidyasagar, EE Venkata Raju, and others. (Maxim News)
