Talasani Questions Congress Government Over Water Supply And Future City Plans

Hyderabad, June 14: Former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav criticised the Telangana government and questioned whether an administration that cannot ensure water supply to the city can successfully build a Future City project.

Addressing a BRS meeting in Khairatabad constituency at Telangana Bhavan, Talasani also criticised Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy over his public remarks and said political leadership should maintain the dignity of the office.

Talasani targets government over civic issues

Talasani said the BRS was formed in 2001 under the leadership of K Chandrashekar Rao with the objective of achieving Telangana statehood. He described KCR as a leader who fought for issues related to water, funds and employment during the united Andhra Pradesh period.

He claimed Telangana recorded significant development during the ten years of BRS governance and became a model for other states.

The former minister said people across sections had benefited during the previous government’s tenure. At the same time, he alleged that public dissatisfaction had increased during the Congress government’s two and a half years in office.

Referring to local development, Talasani said Khairatabad witnessed progress during the BRS administration. He also urged party workers to remain active on public issues and begin preparations for the upcoming GHMC elections.
