He said the ruling party had promised enhanced pensions and a monthly financial assistance of Rs 2,000 for women. However, he claimed that many of these promises remain unfulfilled even after coming to power.
Continuing his criticism, Talasani defended the previous BRS administration against allegations regarding state debt.
He said the KCR government used borrowed funds to build major infrastructure projects, including the new Secretariat and the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project. In contrast, he questioned what tangible assets the present Congress government had created despite increasing borrowings.
The BRS MLA also launched a fresh attack on the HYDRA initiative. He alleged that the government was using the agency to intimidate contractors and demolish houses belonging to poor families.
According to Talasani, the administration was misusing its authority instead of focusing on governance and development.
He further accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of making irresponsible statements due to the power he currently holds.
Talasani said the government should concentrate on implementing its promises rather than engaging in political rhetoric.
His remarks come amid an intensifying political war of words between the ruling Congress and the opposition BRS, with both sides trading accusations over governance, welfare schemes, and regional issues. (Maxim News)
