Tamilisai, Bandaru Dattatreya offer prayers to Khairatabad Ganesh

Hyderabad, Sept. 10: Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya offered prayers to Lord Ganesha at Khairatabad here on Friday (September 10) on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi festival.

Tamilisai has conveyed Vinayaka Chavithi greetings to the people of Telangana and exhorted them to celebrate the festival following Covid-19 guidelines. The 40-feet tall Lord Vinayaka idol has been captivating the devotees. Organisers have installed the idols of Krishna Kali and Kala Nageshwari besides Lord Ganesha. Traffic police have imposed restrictions on all roads leading to the venue where Ganesha idol is installed in Khairatabad till September 19.
