TASA ECHS Consultative Committee Meeting held at GPSB

Hyderabad, Mar 13 (Maxim News): TASA ECHS Consultative Committee Meeting was held at Golden Palm Sainik Bhawan (GPSB) located near Secunderabad Railway Station today. Major General N Srinivas Rao, General Officer Commanding, Telangana and Andhra Sub Area presided over the meeting.

In his inaugural address, the General Officer stated that the Telangana and Andhra Sub Area has been dedicatedly working on making Ex-servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) more effective with changing time and technology. He also mentioned that the endeavor of Telangana and Andhra Sub Area is to empower Veterans in Andhra and Telangana states and ensuring their comfort by providing efficient patient care. He urged all stake holders to take ownership and contribute towards the common goal of near perfect clientele satisfaction

Telangana and Andhra Sub Area has launched “TASA ECHS Management Information System” (TEMIS), first of its kind in the country on 15 Jan this year. Chief of the Army Staff appreciated the efforts made by TASA for developing the same. TEMIS has automated important process of the scheme and enhanced efficiency multifold.

Various issues on the scheme were discussed in presence of all stake holders to make the scheme friendlier to veterans and their dependents.

All important stake holders including Brigadier MD Upadhyay, Station Commander, Lieutenant General (Retd) ARK Reddy, Lieutenant General (Retd) KR Rao, Brigadier D Vivekananda, Commandant of Military Hospital Secunderabad, ECHS Consultative Committee members, important functionaries and Ex-Servicemen representatives attended the meeting.
