Hyderabad: The TASA Protocol Visit marked a key step in strengthening coordination between the Indian Army and civil authorities in Andhra Pradesh. Major General Ajay Misra, General Officer Commanding Telangana and Andhra Sub Area, held meetings with senior dignitaries in Amravati and Vijayawada.
The discussions focused on military civil fusion and improving cooperation between the state and the Indian Army. Officials said the meetings aimed to build stronger links in areas such as security, development, and disaster response.
TASA Protocol Visit Highlights Key Meetings
During the TASA Protocol Visit, Major General Ajay Misra met Shaikh Abdul Nazeer, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh. They discussed nation building and the Indian Army’s role in community development. They also spoke about disaster management and broader security matters.
Meanwhile, the General Officer also met TG Bharat, the Minister for Industries. The talks focused on support and mentorship for the defence industry ecosystem in Andhra Pradesh. Therefore, the discussions highlighted the need for closer collaboration between industry and defence sectors.
Security and Welfare Discussions Strengthen Cooperation
In addition, Major General Ajay Misra held talks with Harish Kumar Gupta, Director General of Police, on security related matters. These discussions aimed to improve coordination in maintaining law and order.

He also met G Sai Prasad, Chief Secretary, to address issues related to Ex Servicemen welfare and ECHS. These talks focused on improving support systems for former service personnel.
The meetings concluded on a positive note. Officials said the TASA Protocol Visit helped strengthen cooperation and collaboration between military and civil authorities.
