TAUK To Celebrate Bathukamma Festival On A Grand Note

Hyderabad, Sept.3 (Maxim News): Telangana Association of United Kingdom, London (TAUK) is celebrating the forthcoming Bathukamma festival as ‘Chenetha Bathukamma’ on a grand note at London on September 28.

The event will be organised at West London – Isleworth & Syon School. Former MP K. Kavitha launched TAUK’s poster for the unique initiative aimed at supporting the weavers’ community.

Speaking on the occasion, Kavitha complimented TAUK members for the initiative taken to support the handloom weavers by celebrating the Bathukamma festival as ‘Chenetha Bathukamma’. She also appreciated the efforts of TAUK in promoting Telangana culture on global platform and extended her best wishes for the upcoming Bathukamma event at London.

This event was attended by NRI TRS UK Vice-president Naveen Reddy, TAUK Women Cell Secretary Supraja Pulusu, NRI TRS UK spokesperson Ravi Pradeep Pulusu and other senior members, including Rajkumar Shanaboiana and Mallesh pappula. (Maxim News)
