Telangana Assembly Heats Up: War Of Words Between Congress And BRS Members
Hyderabad, Mar 13 (Maxim News): The Telangana Assembly has heated up with a war of words between Congress and BRS members. The dialogue war between the ruling and opposition party members reached its peak during the discussion on the motion of thanks to the Governor’s address.
There was chaos in the Assembly as the two factions exchanged verbal blows. As a result, Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad adjourned the House for 15 minutes.
During the debate on the motion of thanks to the Governor’s address, BRS MLA Jagadish Reddy alleged that the Governor’s address was made using Chat GPT AI. The ruling party members expressed anger over Jagadish Reddy’s comments. In this context, the Speaker advised Jagadish Reddy to follow the rules of the House. To this, Jagadish Reddy said, “This House belongs to all of us. Everyone has equal rights here. Besides, the Assembly does not belong to the Congress party alone. You are sitting as the Speaker as a gentleman on behalf of all of us. This House does not belong to you.”
In this context, Congress members were outraged by Jagadish Reddy’s comments about the Speaker. Minister Sridhar Babu demanded that Jagadish Reddy should take back his words and apologize, saying that he had insulted the Dalit Speaker. Sridhar Babu insisted that Jagadish Reddy should not speak arrogantly. He should apologize. Jagadish Reddy spoke in a way that insulted the Speaker’s chair. He wanted the BRS party to apologize along with him.
Immediately, Jagadish Reddy said I should say what I said against the traditions of the House. He said that questioning the Speaker is not against the traditions of the House. He said that he wanted to talk about the Speaker’s authorities. He made hot comments that the traditions of the House and the powers of the Speaker should be clarified. He said that he would speak only after everything was clarified, otherwise, he would leave. Jagadish Reddy’s comments caused a huge uproar in the House, and the Speaker adjourned the House for a while. (Maxim News)
