Telangana Became a Heaven For Bribery After Congress Came To Power: Raja Singh

Hyderabad, Jan 25 (Maxim News): BJP MLA T. Raja Singh has criticized that Telangana has become a heaven for bribery after the Congress government came to power. He said that once constables, SIs and Inspectors were afraid of taking bribes, but now it is not like that.

Recently, an audio clip of a victim claiming that an inspector from Karimnagar Jammikunta Police Station took a bribe of Rs. 3 lakh went viral, and recently, Inspector Babu Chauhan of Sainath Ganj Police State under his own constituency Gosha Mahal was caught by the ACB while taking a bribe of Rs. 50 thousand to clear the name of an accused in a case.

He said that many police officers have been caught taking bribes this year. He questioned where the people will get justice if the police, who are supposed to stand by the people and provide protection to the society, take bribes like this.

He suggested that the city police commissioner should take the initiative and install CCTV cameras in every police station.

He said that a special law should be made to remove police officers who take bribes from their duties. (Maxim News)
