Telangana Budget 2023-24: Minorities Got Rs.2,200 Cr And BCs Rs. 6,229 Cr

Hyderabad, Feb 6 (Maxim News): The State government headed by Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao claims that it is giving justice to all sections of people and has allocated in the budget of Rs. 2.90,396 crores in which Rs. 2,200 crores of 12 percent Minorities in the budget and for the BCs which constitute 52 percent of the state population got Rs. 6,229 crores. SC Development Rs. 21,022 crores and for Tribal Welfare Rs. 3,965 crores.

However, the allocation of funds in the Budget to the Irrigation department tops with 26,885 crores followed by Agriculture & Cooperation department Rs. 26,831, Animal husbandry & Fisheries department Rs, 2,071 crores, Energy Department Rs. 12,727 crores, Environment Forest Science & Technology Department Rs. 1,71, Finance Department Rs. 49,749 crores, Food & Civil Supplies department Rs. 3,117 crores, General Administration Department Rs. 1,491 crores, Medical, Health, and Family Welfare Rs. 12,161 crores, Higher Education Department Rs. 3,001 crores, Home department Rs. 9,599 crores, Information Technology & Communications Rs. 366 crores, labor, and Employment department Rs. 542 crores, Law department Rs. 1,685 crores, legislature Rs. 168 crores, Municipal Administration and Urban Development Rs. 11,372 crores, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Rs. 31,428 crores, Planning Department Rs. 11,495 crores. Revenue department Rs. 3,560 crores, Secondary Education and Secretariat department Rs. 16,092 crores, Transport department Rs. 1,644 crores, Roads and Building department Rs. 22,260 crores, Women, Children, Disabled and Senior Citizens Rs. 2,131 crores, youth Advancement, tourism, and culture department Rs. 1,117 crores.
