Telangana Cabinet to Hold First Ever Paperless Meeting

Hyderabad: The Telangana Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, will hold the state’s first fully paperless Cabinet meeting on Thursday. The meeting marks a significant step in the government’s push towards digital governance and is expected to take up several key policy decisions.

The Cabinet is likely to decide on the implementation of the Centre’s Viksit Bharat Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission Grameen schemes in Telangana.

Paperless Cabinet Meeting to Discuss Key Welfare and Development Issues

The ministers will review the availability and distribution of seeds and fertilisers for the ongoing Kharif season. In view of the El Nino effect and delayed monsoon, the Cabinet is also expected to finalise an action plan on alternative crop cultivation and agricultural preparedness.

A crucial decision on the release of long pending fee reimbursement funds for students is also expected during the meeting.

The Cabinet may also approve the Detailed Project Report for the first phase of the Musi River rejuvenation and restoration project, one of the state government’s flagship urban development initiatives.

In addition, ministers are expected to discuss the strategy for securing Central approval for Hyderabad Metro Phase 2. The agenda also includes deliberations on the reciprocal transfer of government employees between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

The Cabinet is likely to consider proposals related to LIG housing layouts and design approvals in Hyderabad, along with several other public welfare and infrastructure initiatives.

The meeting is expected to conclude with decisions on multiple development projects aimed at improving governance, infrastructure, agriculture and public services across the state.
