Telangana: Cinema Halls, Theatres To Be Closed From Today
In the wake of new restrictions imposed by the Telangana government to stop second wave of the coronavirus, the Telangana Theatre Owners Association have decided not to screen movies in theatres till month end.
Hyderabad, April 21: In the wake of new restrictions imposed by the Telangana government to stop second wave of the coronavirus, the Telangana Theatre Owners Association have decided not to screen movies in theatres till month end.
However, exemption was given to select theatres which are screening Pawan Kalyan starrer Vakeel Saab. With the closure of cinema theatres, several movies ready for release have been postponed. The association said that it was a voluntary decision to close movie halls keeping the health of people in mind as coronavirus is spreading fast in the second wave.
