Delhi/Hyderabad, Aug 5 (Maxim News) Telangana Congress MPs staged a protest in the Parliament premises today (Tuesday). They demanded that the central government approve 42 percent reservation for BCs. Telangana Congress MPs have already moved adjournment resolutions in the Lok Sabha.
On the other hand.. Congress leaders are arriving in Delhi in large numbers. Congress ministers, MLAs, MLCs, corporation chairmen and key party leaders have already arrived in Delhi. Minister Vakiti Srihari spoke to the media on this occasion. He suggested that the central government should not block BC reservations if it is sincere. He demanded that BJP and BRS leaders support BC reservations in the Assembly. Minister Vakiti Srihari clarified that the draft has already been sent to the President .
Minister Vakiti Srihari demanded that the central government approve 42 percent BC reservation . He asked that the 50 percent limit be lifted. He said that Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had sincerely prepared a program to implement 42 percent reservation for BCs. He revealed that they are organizing a protest with about 20,000 people at Jantar Mantar tomorrow (Wednesday). He emphasized that the Congress is sincere about BC reservation. Minister Vakiti Srihari advised that it is not right to block reservations for BCs by pointing out minorities as an obstacle.
Telangana government whip Adi Srinivas questioned why BJP MLAs supported BC reservations in the Telangana Assembly. He suggested that MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha should hold a dharna in Delhi instead of Hyderabad. He questioned what Kavitha had to do with BC reservation. He criticized that no one knows what is happening in the Kalvakuntla family. Adi Srinivas said that today (Tuesday) there will be adjournment resolutions by MPs in Parliament, tomorrow (Wednesday) there will be a dharna, and tomorrow (Thursday) we will meet the President.
