Telangana Covid-19: 2154 new cases and 8 fatalities

Hyderabad: Telangana reports 2,154 new Covid-19 infections and eight fatalities on Tuesday, taking the overall toll to 1189 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,04,748. As on Tuesday, there were 26, 551 active Covid-19 cases in Telangana.

A total of 2,239 persons have recovered on Tuesday, taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 1, 77, 008 with a recovery rate of 86.45 percent, while the countrywide recovery rate is 84.9 percent.

Between Monday and Tuesday, 54, 277 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 1, 525 samples are awaited. So far, a total of 33, 46, 472 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2, 04, 748 have tested positive and 1, 77, 008 persons have recovered.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from all the districts include 23 from Adilabad, 92 from Bhadradri, 303 from areas under GHMC, 45 from Jagtiyal, 23 from Jangaon, 25 from Bhupalpally, 19 from Gadwal, 71 from Kamareddy, 96 from Karimnagar, 121 from Khammam, 16 from Komarambheem Asifabad, 40 from Mahabubnagar, 45 from Mahabubabad, 39 each from Mancherial, 29 from Medak, 187 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 25 from Mulugu, 33 from Nagarkurnool, 124 from Nalgonda, 12 from Narayanpet, 19 from Nirmal, 60 from Nizamabad, 42 from Peddapally, 41 from Siricilla, 205 from Rangareddy, 63 from Sangareddy, 78 each from Siddipet, 79 from Suryapet, 28 from Vikarabad, 31 from Wanaparthy, 28 from Warangal Rural, 74 from Warangal Urban and 38 positive cases from Yadadri Bhongir.
