Telangana Covid-19:1196 new cases and five deaths

Hyderabad: Telangana reports 1196 new Covid-19 infections and five deaths on Tuesday, taking the overall toll to 1390 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,53,651. As on Tuesday, there were 18,027 active Covid-19 cases in the State.

A total of 1,745 persons recovered on Tuesday, taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,34,234 with a recovery rate of 92.34 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate is 92.70 per cent.

Between Monday and Tuesday, 44,635 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 555 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 47,29,401 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,53,651 have tested positive and 2,34,234 persons have recovered.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts include 12 from Adilabad, 81 from Bhadradri, 192 from areas under GHMC, 21 from Jagtiyal, 15 from Jangaon, 11 from Bhupalpally, four from Gadwal, 26 from Kamareddy, 73 from Karimnagar, 42 from Khammam, four from Asifabad, 25 from Mahabubnagar, 10 from Mahabubabad, 24 from Mancherial, 18 from Medak, 101 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 21 from Mulugu, 18 from Nagarkurnool, 89 from Nalgonda, three from Narayanpet, 11 from Nirmal, 23 from Nizamabad, 24 from Pedapalli, 25 from Siricilla, 121 Rangareddy, 36 from Sangareddy, 30 from Siddipet, 26 from Suryapet, 21 from Vikarabad, nine from Wanaparthy, 15 from Warangal Rural, 51 from Warangal Urban and 14 positive cases from Yadadri Bhongir.
