Telangana Formation Day Celebrated in Zoo Park

Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad celebrated 6th Anniversary of Telangana State Formation day, today by hoisting of National Flag by Smt. N. Kshitija, I.F.S., Curator, Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad at the Zoo Administrative Office Building in the presence of entire staff.

Speaking on the occasion the Curator congratulated the staff for their relentless services to Wild Animals even during lockdown period and also informed that this year the celebration is different due to the Pandemic Disease COVID-19.

This Pandemic taught everyone to keep clean ourselves and also neighbouring areas. The Zoo Park is closed for visitors since March, 15th, 2020 and due to this there is crunch in the resources however, remaining activities like feeding the animals, cleaning the enclosures, maintenance works, prophylactic measures etc., are being continued.

She exhorted all the staff members to rest to the occasion and work diligently keeping in view of the pandemic situation.
