Telangana: HC To Decide On SSC Exams On Saturday

Hyderabad: The two judge panel hearing the writ plea on the conduct of the SSC examinations will assemble for a special session on Saturday at 1 pm. As reported earlier the challenge for the conduct of the examinations in the Covid 19 pandemic. While the petition is for the non-conduct of the examinations, the government filed an application willing to go by any conditions imposed by the court for the safe conduct of the examinations.

The panel of Chief Justice Raghvendra Singh Chauhan and Justice T Vijaysen Reddy dismissed an application seeking impleadment of third parties who opposed the conduct of the examination on the ground that they came very belatedly to court. In another independent writ petition seeking postponement the bench pointed out the government was taking care of the many logistic challenges pointed out. “We have to be fair to every single child whether it is a health issue or academic issue”, the Chief Justice said. Suggesting the government to be flexible in this critical and unprecedented situation, the panel asked the government “whether it is possible to treat the students attending supplementary exams as regular students”.
