Telangana High Court Transfers 48 District Judges

Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court on Thursday issued transfer and promotion orders for 48 district judges across the state. The large-scale reshuffle comes as part of the court’s routine administrative exercise to strengthen the judicial system.

High Court Issues Major Judicial Transfers

According to the orders, 46 officers have received new postings at the district judge level. Among them, 13 are already serving as district judges and will be transferred to new stations, while the remaining 33 officers have been promoted from the senior civil judge cadre under the 65 percent promotion quota.

The High Court also clarified that Registrar (IT) P Praveen Kumar will continue to serve in the same post within the High Court. Officials said the new postings aim to improve judicial administration and expedite case disposal in several districts.
