Telangana Hotels Association Clarity On Hotels Bandh In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Mar 10 (Maxim News): The Iran-Israel-America war has caused severe disruption to gas supply.  Hotels in several metro cities in India are temporarily closing due to gas shortage.

Hotels have already closed in Bangalore.  Hotel Associations there have announced that they will close in Chennai.  The shortage of commercial cylinders has also hit the Telugu states, it has already been announced that proposals to close hotels in Visakhapatnam are being considered.  In this context, members of the Telangana Hotels Association spoke to the media on Tuesday (March 10) about the management of hotels in Hyderabad.

Hotels Association President Venkat Reddy said that gas supply to hotels and restaurants in Telangana has stopped.  He said that commercial gas prices have been increased for the past week. He said that there is no information from the government on gas supply.  Distributors are saying that gas supply will be difficult from now on.

He said that gas is as important as oxygen for humans, for hotels.  He expressed his concern that if there is no gas supply, all those who depend on the hotel industry for their livelihood will be on the streets.  Venkat Reddy said that no decision has been taken on the hotel’s bandh so far. He appealed to the central and state governments to take the initiative and ensure that there is no shortage of gas storage.  (Maxim News)
