Hyderabad, July 18: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy hailed the successful launch of Vikram 1, India’s first private orbital rocket, describing it as a historic milestone for the country’s space sector and a proud moment for Telangana.
Reacting to the launch on social media, the Chief Minister posted, “Hyderabad Rising… Telangana Rising,” and congratulated the Hyderabad-based Skyroot Aerospace team for the achievement.
Revanth Reddy said the successful launch of Vikram 1 from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota demonstrated India’s growing capabilities in the private space sector.
He stated that Telangana has emerged as the destination for India’s space ambitions, adding that Hyderabad’s innovation ecosystem has earned global recognition through Skyroot Aerospace’s achievement.
The Chief Minister congratulated the scientists, engineers, and the entire Skyroot team, saying the successful mission reflects India’s technological progress and the growing strength of private participation in space exploration.
He added that Vikram 1 marks a significant step towards the future of India’s space journey and showcases Telangana’s contribution to the country’s expanding space ecosystem. (Maxim News)
