Hyderabad, April 22: Telangana schools summer break will begin from April 24, marking the end of the academic year 2025 to 26 across the state.
Students will get a nearly 50 day vacation. Schools will reopen on June 12 for the new academic year. Meanwhile, authorities have completed all major academic activities.
Examinations under Summative Assessment II ended on April 18. Results will be announced on Thursday. Additionally, schools will hold parent teacher meetings on the same day.
Telangana Schools Summer Break Schedule Announced
Officials said Telangana schools summer break aims to give students relief from rising temperatures. Moreover, it allows schools to prepare for the next academic session.
School Education Director Dr E Naveen Nicolas instructed officials on staff deployment. He asked headmasters not to relieve teachers working on OD basis on April 23.
Furthermore, the department stressed continuity in administrative work during the break. The move ensures readiness for the upcoming academic year.
The Telangana schools summer break aligns with seasonal conditions. It also follows the academic calendar set by the state education department.
