Hyderabad, April 28: Telangana will witness mixed weather conditions today, April 28, as intense heat continues in many districts while thunderstorms and hail may hit several areas later in the day. Weather experts warned that northern and central Telangana may again face strong hot winds.

Officials advised people to remain alert and avoid stepping out during peak afternoon hours. Heat conditions are likely to stay severe in several districts till evening.

The state has seen sharp temperatures in recent days. Dry winds and strong sunlight have increased discomfort across urban and rural areas.

Telangana Weather Alert for Rain and Hail

Weather analyst Balaji said rain with gusty winds may develop from afternoon to night in many districts. Thunderstorms are likely in parts of Nalgonda, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet and Mahabubnagar.

Similar weather may also affect Gadwal, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Rangareddy, Medak, Siddipet, Jangaon and Hanumakonda.

Adilabad and Kumuram Bheem Asifabad districts may also receive rain with lightning. Some places could witness hailstorms.

Experts said wind speeds may be stronger than yesterday. However, the impact may remain limited to isolated locations.

Hyderabad May Get Evening Relief

Hyderabad residents may get relief from heat between afternoon and night. The weather department forecast moderate to heavy rain with thunder in several parts of the city.

Some localities may also receive hail. Rainfall may lower temperatures for a short time and improve weather conditions.

On Sunday, hail in Rangareddy district drew public attention. Residents recorded videos of roads covered with hailstones and shared them online.
