According to the Meteorological Centre, a low-pressure area is expected to form over the southeast Bay of Bengal by Tuesday. It is then likely to move west-northwestwards over the next 48 hours, strengthening as the wind flows over the south-central Bay of Bengal. Due to these developments, many areas including Khammam, Mahabubabad, Warangal, and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri are expected to experience rain on Sunday.

Officials have therefore issued a yellow alert for these areas, urging residents to remain cautious, especially during heavy downpours.

The changing weather conditions are expected to continue through midweek as the system over the Bay of Bengal develops further.

Meteorological authorities have advised the public to stay updated on local forecasts and take necessary precautions as the state experiences another spell of monsoon activity this October.
