Hyderabad, August 27: Renowned Telugu actor G V Narayana Rao died after suffering a heart attack, actress Karate Kalyani said on Thursday. He was 73.
Rao made his acting debut in 1976 with Antuleni Kadha, directed by veteran filmmaker K Balachandar.
GV Narayana Rao Acted in Films and TV Serials
A contemporary of Chiranjeevi and Rajinikanth, Rao acted in about 100 films during his career.
His notable films include Chilakamma Cheppindi, Muthyala Pallaki, Chiranjeevi’s Gang Leader and Hitler.
Rao also appeared in several popular television serials. His notable serials include Pasupu Kumkuma and Sundarakanda.
His death marks the loss of a veteran actor who worked across Telugu cinema and television for several decades.
