All these years, it has expressed its indignation that temples have been preferred for private purchases and not public institutions. The latest order is to use only “Vijaya” ghee in temples without working with tenders. It has been revealed that the representatives of the temples are ignoring the ghee produced by Vijaya Dairy under the government’s Dairy Development Association and are leaning towards private organizations for commissions.

There are 12 temples in the state with an annual income of crores and they are purchasing ghee from private companies. Although Vijaya Sanstha, which is a public sector organization, gives high priority to quality, the temples prefer private companies instead of this organization. Vijaya Dairy’s ghee purchases have slowed since the beginning of this year.
