They said that Minister Konda Surekha had said that they would give the rate as per the market value or that the farmers would be given agriculturally acceptable lands wherever they wanted. They also said that they had promised to provide water supply and electricity facilities. But now, not only is the land not being given for the lands, but the road leading to their village is also being closed. Apart from that, the farmers are complaining that the government is not showing interest in the new road. The farmers are demanding that justice be done to them.

Meanwhile, the authorities are making efforts to acquire land here in the wake of the paving of the road to Telangana’s second airport. As part of this, the authorities have decided to conduct a land acquisition survey today. However, farmers and women have gathered in large numbers to block the survey.
