TG LAWCET And PGLCET Exams Scheduled For May 18

Hyderabad, May 10: The Telangana State LAWCET and PGLCET 2026 examinations for admissions into law colleges across the state will be conducted on May 18, according to officials.

TG LAWCET and PGLCET Convener Professor B. Vijayalakshmi announced the examination schedule on Sunday. Osmania University will conduct the entrance tests on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education.

The examinations will take place in three sessions through a computer based test mode.

For the three year LLB course, the first session will be held from 9.30 am to 11 am. The second session for the same course will take place from 12.30 pm to 2 pm.

Officials said 47,400 candidates have applied for the three year law course entrance examination this year.

The examination for the five year integrated law course and PGLCET will be conducted from 4 pm to 5.30 pm.

According to the convener, 14,020 candidates will appear for the five year integrated law course entrance test, while 5,200 candidates have applied for the postgraduate law entrance examination.

Overall, a total of 66,620 candidates have registered for the examinations being conducted in three sessions.

Hall tickets For LAWCET available from May 12

Professor Vijayalakshmi said candidates can download their hall tickets from May 12 through the official website.

Applicants must enter their registration details on the portal to access and download the admit cards.

The official website for hall ticket download and examination updates is lawcet.tgche.ac.in.

The convener also announced a final opportunity for candidates who have not yet submitted their applications.

Candidates can apply with a late fee of Rs 4,000 until May 13. Meanwhile, applications with a late fee of Rs 10,000 will be accepted until May 15.

Officials stated that arrangements for examination centres have already been completed across the state.

Candidates were advised to carefully read the instructions available on the official website before appearing for the examination.

The Telangana LAWCET and PGLCET examinations are conducted every year for admissions into undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes offered by government and private law colleges in the state.
