Hyderabad, may 10: BJP national vice president and MP DK Aruna on Sunday said Telangana has become the Bharatiya Janata Party’s next major political target after its electoral success in West Bengal.
Addressing a public meeting at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad, DK Aruna said people across the country believe that Prime Minister Narendra Modi alone can achieve the vision of “Viksit Bharat.”
She stated that the people of West Bengal brought the BJP to power after placing their trust in Modi’s leadership and development agenda.
According to DK Aruna, the BJP now aims to expand its political strength in Telangana and establish a government in the state.
She said every state should progress as part of the Centre’s “Viksit Bharat” mission and highlighted the development projects launched by Prime Minister Modi during his Hyderabad visit.
The BJP leader noted that Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for projects worth nearly Rs 10,000 crore in Telangana.
During her speech, DK Aruna said the aspirations of Telangana people for “water, funds, and jobs” could only be fulfilled through a BJP government and a double engine administration.
She claimed that coordinated governance between the Centre and the state would accelerate development and improve public welfare.
The BJP MP also accused the Bharat Rashtra Samithi and Congress parties of misleading people with promises made to different sections of society.
According to her, both parties failed to meet public expectations despite repeated assurances.
DK Aruna further said the future of the country should continue under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. She pointed to the BJP’s recent victories and political gains in West Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry as evidence of growing public support for the party.
She also stated that massive crowds gathered in Hyderabad and Secunderabad to catch a glimpse of Prime Minister Modi during his visit to the city.
The public meeting at Parade Grounds witnessed the participation of senior BJP leaders, party workers, and supporters from across Telangana under heavy security arrangements.
Prime Minister Modi later addressed the gathering and spoke about the BJP’s expansion plans in Telangana while highlighting the party’s national development agenda.
