Hyderabad, July 28 (Maxim News): The Mailardevpally Police, with the assistance of the Railway Police and technical surveillance, traced three missing Hyderabad minor girls from a moving train in Madhya Pradesh and safely reunited them with their families.
According to police, the three girls, all residents of Hyderabad, went missing on July 24 after allegedly leaving their homes due to emotional distress caused by frequent reprimands from their parents over minor issues.
Around 3 pm, they travelled by auto-rickshaw from Katedan to Budvel Railway Station, then proceeded to Secunderabad Railway Station, where they boarded the Dakshin Express bound for Delhi.
On July 25 at around 11 am, the mother of one of the girls lodged a missing complaint at the Mailardevpally Police Station. Treating the case as a priority, police launched a coordinated search operation under the supervision of Rajendranagar Deputy Commissioner of Police.
Instagram Clue Helped Police Trace Hyderabad Girls
Police constituted five special teams to trace the missing girls. Investigators, in coordination with the Railway Police, analysed CCTV footage from multiple locations to reconstruct their movements.
During the investigation, officers found that one of the girls had secretly carried a mobile phone and was using an Instagram account.
After identifying the account and tracing the linked mobile number, investigators used technical analysis to determine the device’s location.
The technical evidence confirmed that the girls were travelling on the Dakshin Express. Further analysis helped police identify the coach and seat numbers, enabling the Railway Police to intercept the train at Bina Railway Station in Madhya Pradesh.
The girls were rescued safely and brought back to Hyderabad. After completing the required legal formalities and counselling, police reunited them with their respective parents.
The police advised parents to maintain open communication with their children and address emotional concerns with patience and understanding. They also urged parents to monitor their children’s online activities and encourage them to seek support from family members or trusted adults during difficult situations instead of taking impulsive decisions.
