Three Students Drown in Godavari River, One Goes Missing

East Godavari: Three tenth studying students drowned in the Godavari river and one goes missing. The incident took place in Lanakala Gannavaram, East Godavari on Sunday.

According to the reports, the victims were identified as Kandavalli Vinay, Santhala Pawan, Yerramshetti Ratnasagar and Bandaru Naveen Kumar.

It is said that the four had gone to the Godavari river on Saturday evening to enjoy swimming but unexpectedly they went missing in the river.

After receiving the information, the police and MLA rushed to the spot and indulged in rescue operations.

It is said that police found three bodies in the river and yet to found Kandavalli Vinay. A pall of gloom descended over the village after the incident.
