Tiger Shroff off to China for special martial arts training
Even as he continues to put his nimble toes to best use in Sabbir Khan’s dance drama Munna Michael, Tiger Shroff is gearing up to prep for the sequel to his 2016 actioner, Baaghi. The actor, applauded for the finesse with which he executes stunts, heads to Honk Kong this July for special martial arts training under director Tony Ching.
A source says, “Tiger needs [to execute] a certain style [of action] for Baaghi 2. Director Ahmed Khan wants the action to be entirely different from the original. In China, Tiger will train in Bak Mei, Choy Li Fut and Wing Chun, which are different styles of Wushu. It’s essential that he learns the basics before he starts prepping for the stunts under Ching’s supervision.”
Before Tiger takes off for the month-long training, he will shoot for Karan Johar’s Student of The Year 2, also starring Sara Ali Khan, in May. An extensive Kashmir schedule, followed by a 15-day stint in Mumbai has been planned.
