Toll In MRO Burning Incident Rises To Four
Hyderabad, Dec.2 (Maxim News): With the death of office-boy Chandraiah in Abdullapurmet Tahsil Office in the DRDO hospital here in the early hours of Monday, the toll in the incident of burning alive of Tahsildar K Vijaya Reddy has gone up to four.
It may mentioned here that Abdullapurmet Tahsildar Vijaya Reddy was set ablaze with petrol by an irate farmer K Suresh regarding inordinate delay in issuing of pass book on November 4. While the MRO died on the spot, her driver Gurunatham succumbed to injuries the next day and attendar Chandraiah, who rushed to save the official suffered critical injuries. Accused Suresh, who also suffered critical burns, died after three days.
Chandraiah, who was battling for life for the past 28 days, succumbed to burns today. Hospital sources said Chandraiah suffered heart-attack in the early hours and breathed his last. Chandraiah’s body was sent to the Osmania General Hospital for post mortem. (Maxim News)
