The Tourism Reel Bootcamp is being organised against the backdrop of the Tourism Reel Contest announced earlier by the Tourism Committee of FTCCI. The contest is currently underway. The key objective of the workshop is to encourage wider and better quality participation in the contest. Therefore, the bootcamp will focus on practical skills for creating impactful tourism reels that highlight weekend tourism destinations around Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, the organisers stated that participants will first receive in house training. Later, they will be taken outdoors to cover three locations on January 24, a week after the workshop. This structure aims to provide hands on experience. The Tourism Committee said the programme seeks to empower travellers and tourism stakeholders with skills to create engaging reels that promote tourism spots around the city.

In partnership with CreatorWerse, described as India’s First Content Factory, the Tourism Reel Bootcamp will train participants to craft high impact tourism reels. The workshop will be led by Dr. Mani Pavitra. He was introduced as an orthodontist turned finance mentor, ISB alumnus, serial entrepreneur, social activist, and the visionary behind CreatorWerse. The organisers said the session goes beyond technical training and focuses on digital travel storytelling.

CreatorWerse features 52 story rooms, which will be used during the workshop. According to the organisers, the facility offers an ecosystem to learn the skills and tools required to create reels showcasing Telangana’s weekend tourism hotspots. The workshop is open to travellers, resort owners, homestay hosts, backpackers, tour operators, solo travellers, and others interested in content creation.
