Hyderabad, May 13: A man was found murdered on the outskirts of Sabashpally village in Shivampet mandal of Medak on Wednesday morning.
The incident created panic among local residents after passersby noticed the body lying near the roadside and alerted police.
Police teams led by Venkata Raja Goud and Madhukar Reddy reached the spot and began an investigation.
The deceased was identified as MD Anwar, a 50 year old tractor driver from Ankushpur village in Ghatkesar mandal near Hyderabad.
According to police officials, unidentified persons allegedly murdered Anwar and later dumped the body on the outskirts of Sabashpally village during Tuesday night.
Investigators suspect the murder took place elsewhere before the accused abandoned the body in the isolated area.

Police conducted a preliminary inspection at the crime scene and collected evidence.
The body was shifted for postmortem examination.
Police are verifying Anwar’s recent movements and personal contacts to identify possible suspects.
Officials are also examining whether the murder was linked to personal disputes or financial issues.
Local residents expressed shock over the incident and demanded strict action against those responsible.
A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
