Hyderabad, May 13: The Central Board of Secondary Education on Wednesday announced the CBSE Class 12 Results 2026 with an overall pass percentage of 85.20 percent.
Girls once again outperformed boys in the examination results.
According to CBSE data, the pass percentage among girls stood at 88.6 percent, while boys recorded a pass percentage of 82.13 percent.
More than 18 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 examinations this year.
Students can access their results through CBSE Official Website, CBSE Results Portal, DigiLocker and the UMANG application.
Trivandrum Records Highest Pass Percentage
Among all regions, Trivandrum secured the highest pass percentage at 95.62 percent.
Chennai, Bengaluru, Vijayawada, Delhi East and Delhi West also recorded strong performances in the results.
Prayagraj registered the lowest pass percentage at 72.43 percent.
Officials said students can download their scorecards using their hall ticket number and registration details.
Pass Percentage Drops This Year
The overall pass percentage declined compared to last year.
In 2025, CBSE recorded an overall pass percentage of 88.39 percent.
This year’s results showed a drop of more than three percentage points.
The board had released the CBSE Class 10 results last month.
Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for revaluation and verification as per CBSE guidelines.
