Hyderabad, April 1 (Maxim News): In view of ‘Sri Veera Hanuman Vijay Yatra’ on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti on April 2, the Malkajgiri Traffic Police have announced traffic restrictions across key routes.
The main rally will commence from Gowliguda Ram Mandir at 11.30 am and is expected to conclude at Sri Hanuman Temple in Tadbund around 8 pm, covering nearly 12 km.
Police said around 14 tributary processions from various locations, including Karmanghat, will merge with the main procession, while nearly 92 local processions will also be taken out across the commissionerate.
The procession will pass through CTO Junction and several major stretches—including Malkajgiri-Anandbagh Road, ECIL Cross Roads, Sainikpuri-Yapral Road, Tarnaka-Habsiguda routes, and areas around Karmanghat and LB Nagar are likely to witness heavy congestion.
Vehicular movement will be regulated along the procession routes, with diversions at important junctions. Entry of heavy vehicles, RTC buses, and goods carriers will be restricted on identified stretches during the Yatra hours.
Police also warned that no-parking zones will be strictly enforced, and improperly parked vehicles will be towed.
Designated parking arrangements have been made for devotees at Tadbund, including Dhobi Ghat, Hanumanth Reddy Complex, and open spaces near Imperial Gardens in Karkhana.
Commuters have been advised to avoid the main routes during peak hours and in case of emergencies, Dial 112 or contact the traffic helpline for assistance. (Maxim News)
