Tragedy In KTR Tour: Female Head Constable Died After Falling Into A Canal

Bhadradri Kothagudem/Hyderabad, Sept 30 (Maxim News) A tragedy occurred during Minister K.Tarak Rama Rao’s tour in Bhadradri Kothagudem district.

A female head constable who came to Bandobast fell into the Godavari river canal near Sitaramula temple and lost her life. On the information of the locals, the NDRF personnel of the police took up search operations in the field. The body of the constable was recovered at the Godavari sluices.

The female head constable was walking from the vehicle parking area towards Annadana Satram when she slipped in the drainage canal.  When the NDRF personnel descended into the canal and searched, the body of the constable was recovered at the sluices.

The police have identified the deceased as Kothagudem One Town Constable Sridevi.  Head Constable Sridevi’s husband’s name is Rama Rao, he works as an SB Constable in Kothagudem and they have a baby.  (Maxim News)
